Elite Fighters Competing June 1st

We would like to welcome our new Elite MMA Management fighter Rickey Bolin who, alongside other Elite MMA fighters Adam Cella, Kevin Engel, and Lucas Lopes, will be competing on June 1st at Shamrock Fighting Championships Evolution event in St. Louis at the Lumiere Casino.

Rickey will be making his professional MMA debut after a long and successful amateur career. We can’t wait, and we expect big things from him as he continues in his career.

Professional boxer Kevin Engel will also make him pro. MMA debut on June 1st. Kevin is a great striker who has boxed on Showtime and ESPN in several different countries. He steps into the cage for the first time as a professional MMA fighter next month, and we’re pumped.

Voelker to take on Burrell on Grand Prix Fight Card

St. Louis, MO. Elite MMA Management confirms that Strikeforce Challengers Veteran Signs a 5 Fight extension with Strikeforce. This will be a great opportunity for Bobby Voelker to continue his career with a great company.

Voelker who boasts a 24-8 record, and is 4-1 in Strikeforce. He is looking to make his way through the welterweight ranks to get a shot at the Welterweight Title.

Two World Class Fighters Sign With Elite

Elite signed 2 top Brazilian Black Belts who have made a name for themselves in MMA. Luis “Buscape” Firmino who is a Pride, Shooto, and Dream veteran has been ranked as high as number 5 in the world at 145lbs. He has comprised a record of 20-5 and has fought some of the top guys in the world. Porfitio “Barata” Alves Jr is a top level Black belt who has lived in Switzerland and has help create the Swiss MMA community. He is a M-1 Global veteran and a top prospect in the welterweight ranks. Look for both of these fighters to make a impact in the MMA scene within the next 6 months.

Junior Killer Takes Huge Step in MMA

Until July 4th, many people didn’t know who Romario da Silva was in the United States. He came to the US with a dream on making a career in MMA. His Muay Thai background and name is well known in his native Brazil, so coming as a no-named fighter to the US he needed to step up and fight top guys… that he did. On Sept 10th, Junior Killer as he is known, took on a tough veteran Jamie Jara in the main event on Shark Fights 19. The fight was what everyone thought it would be, a tough standup battle with the fight never hitting the canvas. In the end Silva out fought Jara to take the unanimous decision.
